CRM AI Credits Cost: 1,000 AI Actions at Four CRMs

Use AI to summarise this article

Checked on 10 October 2026. Every price and allowance below was read that day on the vendor’s own pricing page, legal catalog or help page. This is research from published pages, not a measurement from our own accounts.

Running 1,000 AI actions costs about $100 in HubSpot, $100 a month in Streak, $490 in Freshsales and an unknown amount in monday CRM. Those are list prices, beyond whatever each plan already includes.

The four figures do not compare, and that is the finding here rather than a footnote to it. HubSpot charges 10 credits for an AI action in a workflow at $0.010 a credit, so 1,000 of them come to $100. Streak charges 1 credit for a deal summary and sells credits in a 1,000-credit pack at $100 a month. Freshsales charges $49 per 100 Freddy AI Agent sessions, and a session is a chatbot conversation rather than one action inside the CRM. monday publishes a per-credit price but not how many credits a CRM action uses, so its figure stays blank. Each vendor is selling a different unit, which makes “1,000 actions” four different purchases.

How were these figures read?

Each figure comes from the vendor’s own public page on 10 October 2026, with the page named beside it. Nothing below comes from a review site, a search snippet or an AI summary, even where those printed a number. Where a vendor page refused our read or did not publish a figure, the page says so and prints nothing in its place.

The protocol, in short:

  • Pages read. Streak’s pricing page; HubSpot’s Product and Services Catalog and its knowledge base article on HubSpot Credits; Freshworks’ Freshsales pricing page and its Freddy AI support article; monday.com’s CRM pricing page and its blog post on AI credits dated 26 August 2026.
  • What “1,000 AI actions” means here. The cheapest single AI operation each vendor names, repeated 1,000 times, priced beyond whatever the plan already includes.
  • What it is not. We opened no account and hold no invoice for this page. The rules behind every number on the site are on our how we measure page.

CRM AI credits cost at a glance: what does 1,000 actions cost?

Prices are in US dollars at list. Seat prices, each with its billing period, follow in the vendor sections, because a credit price means little without the seat it sits on.

VendorUnit of AI billingCheapest named actionPrice beyond the allowance1,000 of that action
HubSpotHubSpot CreditsAI action in a workflow, 10 credits$0.010 per credit, pay-as-you-go10,000 credits, about $100
StreakAI creditsDeal summary, Q&A or autofill, 1 credit$100 a month for a 1,000-credit pack1,000 credits, $100 a month
FreshsalesFreddy AI Agent sessionsOne session$49 per 100 sessions$490
monday CRMAI creditsNot readable on the pages we could open$0.01 per credit yearly, $0.0125 monthlyNot computable from what we read

Two things decide whether a real bill lands near these figures, and the table shows neither. A team that stays inside its included allowance pays nothing extra at all. Past that line, the same vendor charges up to 10 times more for a heavier operation, which the HubSpot and Streak sections work through.

What do HubSpot credits cost?

HubSpot sells extra credits at $0.010 each, either pay-as-you-go or in capacity packs of 1,000 credits for $10. Its catalog lists 500 included credits a month on Starter, 3,000 on Professional and 5,000 on Enterprise, with more on Data Hub and Customer Platform. A workflow AI action costs 10 credits, so 1,000 of them use 10,000 credits.

The figures come from HubSpot’s Product and Services Catalog, read the same day. Its credit rate sheet lists, among others:

HubSpot AI featureCredits per use1,000 uses in creditsAt $0.010 per credit
Execute one AI action in a workflow1010,000$100
Data Agent, one prompt for one record1010,000$100
Customer Agent, resolve one text conversation5050,000$500
Prospecting Agent, outreach for one lead100100,000$1,000

On a Professional edition, the 3,000 included credits cover 300 workflow AI actions a month. The other 700 of a 1,000-action month would use 7,000 credits, about $70 at the pay-as-you-go rate. The catalog lists Data Hub and Customer Platform at 500 credits on Starter, 5,000 on Professional and 10,000 on Enterprise.

HubSpot’s knowledge base article on credits, last updated 9 September 2026, adds three rules that decide what the bill does. Included credits go to accounts “on the seat-based pricing model.” Unused credits “expire at the end of each usage period and do not roll over.” Overages are “billed on a monthly basis, in arrears, in increments of 10 HubSpot Credits, rounding down.” The catalog adds that a capacity pack is a monthly increase for the length of the contract, so a pack bought for one heavy month stays on the bill until the term ends.

What do Streak AI credits cost?

Streak includes 20 AI credits per user per month on Pro, 150 on Pro+ and 500 on Enterprise, pooled across the team. Extra credits come in monthly packs: 1,000 for $100, 2,500 for $200, 10,000 for $500 and 25,000 for $1,000. A deal summary costs 1 credit, so 1,000 summaries need 1,000 credits.

These figures are from Streak’s pricing page, read the same day. The same page lists the seat prices: Pro at $49 per user per month billed annually or $59 paying monthly, Pro+ at $69 annually or $89 monthly, and Enterprise at $129 annually or $159 monthly.

Streak AI actionCredits per use1,000 uses in credits
Deal summary, Q&A or autofill from the timeline11,000
Autofill with web research22,000
Automated AI actions1 per 10 runs100

The pack price per credit falls as the pack grows: $0.10 in the 1,000 pack, $0.08 in the 2,500 pack, $0.05 in the 10,000 pack and $0.04 in the 25,000 pack. That arithmetic is ours, from the page’s own figures.

Seat count matters more here than anywhere else in this comparison. A five-seat Pro team pools 100 included credits a month, so a 1,000-summary month would need a pack. A five-seat Enterprise team pools 2,500, which covers it. Streak’s page says credits “refresh at the start of each billing period” and do not carry over.

Put the two lines together and the AI charge stops looking like a rounding error. Five Pro seats at $49 cost $245 a month, so the $100 pack adds 41% to that bill.

What do Freshsales Freddy AI sessions cost?

Freshsales lists one metered AI add-on on its pricing page: the Freddy AI Agent at $49 per 100 sessions, on every plan. Paid plans get 500 sessions once per account to try it. At that rate, 1,000 sessions cost $490, and the unit is a chatbot session, not a single action inside the CRM.

Freshworks’ Freshsales pricing page, read the same day, shows Growth at $9, Pro at $39 and Enterprise at $59 per user per month, each billed annually. It states that “the validity of bot sessions aligns with your payment cycle,” which ties a session pack to the billing cycle the account pays on. Against those seat prices, $490 of sessions is a large line: five Pro seats cost $195 a month, so 1,000 sessions run to about two and a half months of seats.

The page does not say which Freddy AI features sit inside each Freshsales plan without the add-on. Freshworks’ support article on Freddy AI pricing, last modified 8 July 2025, prices Freddy Copilot at $29 per agent per month annually or $35 monthly, but it says that pricing “applies to Freshdesk Omni, Freshchat, Freshdesk, and Freshdesk Omnichannel.” Freshsales is not on that list, so the Copilot price is not carried into this comparison.

What do monday CRM AI credits cost?

monday.com prices AI credits at $0.01 each on yearly billing and $0.0125 on monthly billing, bought in predefined buckets, according to its blog post on AI credits dated 26 August 2026. So 1,000 credits cost $10 or $12.50. We could not read how many credits a monday CRM action uses, or how many credits the Basic, Standard and Pro CRM plans include.

The monday CRM pricing page, read the same day, lists the seat prices: Basic at $12 per seat per month yearly or $18 monthly, Standard at $17 or $25, and Pro at $28 or $41, each with a three-seat minimum. It lists AI features on Standard and Pro and says of the Ultimate plan that “AI credits are included in this plan.” It prints no credit allowance for the other three plans.

monday’s help center articles on AI credits returned an access error that day, so the per-action rates they may carry are not printed here. The blog post names several AI features as free, including “the email generator, formula builder, and AI-assisted updates.” A team budgeting AI usage in monday CRM has to confirm both the allowance and the rate on its own credit usage screen.

Horizontal bar chart pricing 1,000 runs of one AI operation at four CRMs. HubSpot workflow action $100, HubSpot Data Agent $100, Streak deal summary $100 a month as a 1,000-credit pack, Freshsales 1,000 Freddy AI Agent sessions $490, HubSpot Customer Agent $500 and HubSpot Prospecting Agent $1,000. monday CRM has no bar, because its per-action credit rate was not readable.
Four of these six rows are the same vendor at the same credit price, ten times apart. The headline number is set by which operation you run, not by which CRM you bought. A price read plus arithmetic, not a measurement.

Why is “1,000 AI actions” a different amount at each vendor?

Because each vendor bills a different unit. HubSpot and Streak charge credits per operation, and the credits per operation vary with the task. Freshsales charges per chatbot session. monday charges credits whose per-action rate we could not read. A comparison has to name the operation as well as the credit, or it is comparing nothing.

The same patterns turn up under every row:

  • Heavier operations cost multiples. HubSpot’s Prospecting Agent uses 10 times the credits of a workflow AI action. Streak’s web-research autofill costs double a timeline autofill.
  • Allowances scale differently. Streak’s included credits scale with seats and plan. HubSpot’s follow the edition, not the seat count. Freshsales’ 500 free sessions arrive once per account, not each month.
  • Nothing rolls over. Streak and HubSpot both state that unused credits expire at the end of the period, and Freshsales ties session validity to the payment cycle.

How these metered lines join the seat price, the minimums and the add-ons is set out line by line in our CRM total cost of ownership worksheet. The seat prices alone, each with its billing period, are in the CRM price index.

Does the billing period change the credit price?

At monday it does, on the vendor’s own figures: $0.01 per credit on yearly billing against $0.0125 on monthly, a 25% premium for monthly. HubSpot and Streak publish one credit price, but their seat prices differ by billing period, and HubSpot’s capacity packs hold for the contract term.

That makes the credit decision part of the billing-period decision. A pack or bucket that cannot be reduced until the term ends works like an annual commitment on the AI line, even when seats are billed monthly. The general trade between a lower committed rate and a longer lock-in is worked through vendor by vendor in CRM monthly vs annual billing.

What does this page not do?

It prices published list rates on one date. We saw no one’s invoice, tested nothing, and recommend no CRM on the strength of its AI. Third-party AI tools are out of scope: this is only the AI each vendor sells inside its own product.

  • No usage measured. We ran no AI actions and hold no credit statement from any vendor for this page.
  • monday’s per-action rate is missing. The help pages that may carry it refused our read.
  • Freshsales plan-level AI is unclear. Its pricing page lists only the AI Agent add-on.
  • Contracts can differ. A negotiated order form can price credits differently from the public catalog.
  • Prices move. Each figure is dated 10 October 2026 and is rechecked monthly under the site’s standard.
