CRM Price Increase 2026: What Changed, Read Twice

Use AI to summarise this article

Checked on 24 September 2026. Every figure below was read on that date from the vendor's own page and compared with the read of 24 August 2026 already published on this site.

Our CRM price increase 2026 record, first edition, has one answer so far: none of the twelve CRM plan prices we track moved between our reads on 24 August and 24 September 2026. HubSpot Sales Hub Starter, Freshsales Growth, Close, monday CRM, EngageBay and Leadfeeder showed identical figures at every billing period both times. The one list-price change a vendor announced in that window came from Salesforce, which published new Core, Advanced and Max editions on 3 September 2026 and said existing customer pricing on legacy editions "remains unchanged."

Two reads a month apart are the start of a record, not a year of one. This page calls itself a first edition for that reason, and it will keep saying so until the record is long enough to show a trend.

How is this record kept?

By reading the same twelve plan prices on the vendors' own public pricing pages on fixed dates, naming the billing period of every figure, and comparing each read with the one before. It is a record of published list prices, not of anyone's invoice, and every line can be repeated by a reader.

The protocol:

  • What is tracked. Twelve priced plan lines at six vendors, the same lines that appear in our CRM price index, with the billing period named for every figure. monday CRM Ultimate is carried as "quote" because monday publishes no figure for it.
  • Read 1. 24 August 2026, as published in that index.
  • Read 2. 24 September 2026, the vendor's own public pricing page, at every billing period the page shows: monthly, annual and, where offered, two-year.
  • What counts as a change. Any figure that differs at any billing period, a billing period that appears or disappears, or a plan that is renamed or withdrawn.
  • What it is not. No account was opened, no renewal quote was requested and no invoice was received for this page. These are the prices a vendor publishes to a new buyer.

The rules behind every number on the site, including how a figure is tied to its billing period, are on our how we measure page.

Five vendors are missing from the record, for the reasons the index gives. Pipedrive's and Salesforce's pricing pages refused our read in August. Zoho's served Indian rupees. Brevo's returned no readable plan content. Streak's figures could not be tied to a billing period with confidence. None of them is filled in from another site's numbers.

The CRM price increase 2026 record: did any tracked price move?

No. All twelve priced lines matched at every billing period on both dates, and no plan was renamed, withdrawn or given a new billing period. Figures are per user or seat per month in US dollars unless stated, and each cell shows the 24 August read first and the 24 September read second.

Vendor and plan Paying monthly Annual commitment Two-year commitment Change
HubSpot Sales Hub Starter $20 / $20 $7 / $7 not offered none
Freshsales Growth not published / not published $9 / $9 not offered none
Close Solo $19 / $19 $9 / $9 not offered none
Close Essentials $49 / $49 $35 / $35 not offered none
monday CRM Basic $18 / $18 $12 / $12 not offered none
monday CRM Standard $25 / $25 $17 / $17 not offered none
monday CRM Pro $41 / $41 $28 / $28 not offered none
EngageBay Basic $14.99 / $14.99 $13.79 / $13.79 $12.74 / $12.74 none
EngageBay Growth $64.99 / $64.99 $59.79 / $59.79 $55.24 / $55.24 none
EngageBay Pro $119.99 / $119.99 $110.39 / $110.39 $101.99 / $101.99 none
Leadfeeder Discover EUR 113 / EUR 113 EUR 79 / EUR 79 not offered none
Leadfeeder Activate EUR 527 / EUR 527 EUR 369 / EUR 369 not offered none

Three notes on the table. Leadfeeder is priced per account by the number of companies it identifies, with users unlimited; the figures are each plan's starting tier, in euros, because euros are what the page charges. Close's page shows its two figures beside a billing-cycle toggle under a "save up to 50%" banner; the monthly and annual attribution above is the one recorded in the index, and both figures were unchanged on 24 September. Freshsales published only a billed-annually figure for Growth on both dates.

A flat month is a real result, and a small one. It says that no published sticker price moved at these six vendors between two dates. It says nothing yet about the rest of 2026, and nothing about what an existing customer pays at renewal, which is a separate question that the vendors' own terms answer further down this page.

What did Salesforce change in September 2026?

On 3 September 2026 Salesforce announced three new editions, Core at $195, Advanced at $395 and Max at $550 per user per month, and said existing customer pricing on legacy editions remains unchanged. It framed the change as more value per edition rather than as a price rise, and printed no old-versus-new price comparison.

Salesforce's pricing page is not in our tracked set, so this is a read of the announcement, not of a price list. The newsroom post, New Salesforce Editions Bundle Everything Businesses Need for Agentic Transformation, dated 3 September 2026 and read on 24 September 2026, lists the following.

New edition Price as announced Flex Credits included What Salesforce compares it with
Core $195 per user/month 500,000 "70% more value than legacy Enterprise Edition"
Advanced $395 per user/month 1 million "more than 50% more value than legacy Unlimited Edition"
Max $550 per user/month 2.75 million Agentforce 1 Edition, "at no additional cost"

Three lines in the same post decide whether this is an increase for a given buyer:

  1. "Existing customer pricing on legacy editions remains unchanged." The post we read gives no end date for that.
  2. "New pricing for Agentforce Industry Editions will go into effect later this fall." No figure is given.
  3. The billing period is not named beside the prices. "Per user per month" is the unit each figure is quoted in, not the commitment behind it, so the text we read does not say whether $195 is a month-to-month rate or an annual one. Under this site's standard, a figure without a named period carries that warning.

We compute no percentage change. The post does not print the legacy Enterprise or Unlimited price beside Core or Advanced, and our record holds no Salesforce price read from Salesforce's own pricing page. Several third-party write-ups do compute one. A number we have not read at the source is not printed here.

The top of the ladder is checkable. Salesforce's newsroom post of 17 June 2025, "Salesforce Announces Pricing Update," said Agentforce 1 Editions "begin at $550 per user per month," the same figure Max carries now. That 2025 post is also the most recent across-the-board list increase from Salesforce we have read at the source: "On August 1, 2025, list prices will increase by an average of 6%" on the Enterprise and Unlimited Editions of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service and select Industries Clouds, with "no planned changes to pricing for Salesforce Foundations, Starter, or Pro Editions."

How does a price increase reach a customer who already pays?

Through the vendor's price-change clause. Of the six vendors whose terms we read on 24 September 2026, four bind a new price to the next renewal or to the end of the current billing cycle, and four state a notice period of 30 days or one month. The other two are worded differently. Close ties a change to an announced date rather than to a renewal. monday.com says a change may affect existing subscriptions upon renewal, which reads as a possibility rather than a promise, so it is not counted among the four.

Each vendor's public terms were read that day, and the clause that governs a price change is quoted below. HubSpot's is section 3.2 of its Customer Terms of Service.

Vendor The clause, quoted Notice stated When the new price applies
HubSpot (section 3.2) "Upon renewal, we may increase your Subscription Fees up to our then-current list price set out in our Product and Services Catalog." "at least thirty (30) days in advance of your renewal" "at the start of the next Renewal Term"
Pipedrive (section 6.1) may modify the Fees "upon at least one month's prior notice to Client" at least one month "will not take effect until the next Renewal Date for existing Subscription Terms"
Freshworks, for Freshsales (section 6(c)) "Freshworks will notify Customer of any fee adjustments at least thirty (30) days before its renewal date" 30 days before renewal "at the beginning of the Renewal Term"
Zoho "Any increase in charges will not apply until the expiry of your then current billing cycle." no day count in the clause we read at the end of the current billing cycle
monday.com (section 8.3) "We reserve the right to change the Fees at any time, upon notice to Customer if such change may affect Customer's existing subscriptions upon renewal." notice, no day count stated on renewal as worded, though the clause says "may affect" rather than will
Close (section 4.A) "Close will provide notice of the change on the Application or in email to you, at Close's option, at least 30 days before the change is to take effect." at least 30 days on the announced date; the clause does not mention renewal

EngageBay's terms page returned a "not found" error when we tried it on 24 September 2026, so EngageBay is not in this table. Leadfeeder's terms were not read for this edition.

Two readings follow from the clauses themselves. For the four vendors that tie a rise to the renewal or the billing cycle, the price of a committed term holds for that term, and the exposure moves to the renewal date. On a monthly plan, Zoho's "then current billing cycle" is one month long, so the protection is one month long too. How that trade between a lower committed rate and a longer commitment works out, vendor by vendor, is set out in CRM monthly vs annual billing.

Four numbered rows. One, renewal up to list: HubSpot section 3.2 allows an increase up to the then-current list price with thirty days notice, so a customer paying under list is moved to list while the pricing page does not change. Two, a promotion ends: monday.com section 8.10 renews a discounted subscription at the full fee. Three, a smaller renewal: Freshworks drops discounts if users, plan or contract terms are reduced. Four, marked as different from the other three, the model changes: a new price ladder for new purchases at HubSpot and Salesforce, with legacy pricing left in place.
None of these four would appear in a record of published prices, which is the limit of what this page can check. The first three are quoted clauses; the fourth is a new ladder for new buyers, with legacy pricing left alone for now. Public terms read 24 September 2026.

Can a CRM bill rise when the list price does not?

Yes. Three of the terms we read allow a renewal price above what a customer paid before, with no change at all to the published price: HubSpot's renewal up to list, monday's clause on promotional discounts and Freshworks' rule on smaller renewals. None of the three would ever appear in a record of list prices.

  • Renewal up to list. HubSpot's section 3.2 allows an increase "up to our then-current list price." A customer paying below list, through a discount or an older price, can be moved to list at renewal with 30 days' notice while the figure on the pricing page stays exactly where it was.
  • A promotion that ends. monday.com's section 8.10 says that where a customer "received a special discount or other promotional offer," monday "will renew such Subscription to the Services, at the full applicable Fee at the time of renewal," unless a separate agreement says otherwise.
  • A smaller renewal. Freshworks' terms say "any discounts or price protections previously provided by Freshworks will not apply to renewal if Customer's overall number of Users, Service Plan (including any add-ons), or contract terms are reduced or lowered from the prior Subscription Term." Cutting seats at renewal can therefore cost the discount on the seats that remain.

There is also the change of model, which moves a bill without moving a sticker. HubSpot publishes a "Limited Release Product & Services Catalog Supplement" for "customers on HubSpot's flexible seats-and-credits pricing program," under which "Front Office Seats replace Sales, Service, and Revenue Seats." It is priced in euros and uses a different seat structure from the US Sales Hub page we track, so it is not compared line by line here. Salesforce's new editions are the same kind of change: a new ladder for new purchases, with legacy pricing left in place for now.

The parts of a bill that sit outside the seat price, which a list-price record also misses, are laid out in our CRM total cost of ownership worksheet.

What does this record not show?

Anything beyond published list prices at six vendors across one month. It does not show invoices, renewal quotes, negotiated contracts, metered costs or the five vendors we cannot yet read, and it cannot show what changes after the date on each figure.

  • A year. One month separates the two reads. A trend needs more of them.
  • Invoices or renewal quotes. Every figure is a published list price for a new buyer.
  • Five vendors. Pipedrive, Salesforce's pricing page, Zoho, Brevo and Streak are not yet readable on our protocol.
  • Anyone's contract. Online terms are the default. HubSpot's renewal clause in section 4.1 opens with "unless otherwise specified in your Order," and an order form can differ from public terms in the same way at other vendors. Where a renewal clause decides a large commitment, a lawyer reading the actual order form is the right check; this page quotes public terms, not anyone's agreement.
  • Metered and add-on costs. AI credits, phone minutes, onboarding fees and add-ons are outside this record.
  • Tomorrow. A vendor can change a page the day after a read. The date on every figure is the point of the record.

When does the record grow?

The index is rechecked monthly under the site's standard, and each read joins this page with its date. When a figure moves, it will be listed with both dates, both figures and the billing period, which is the one form of "price increase" a reader can verify alone.

FAQ

Did HubSpot raise prices in 2026?
Not on the line we track. Sales Hub Starter showed $20 per seat paying monthly and $7 per seat on an annual commitment on both 24 August and 24 September 2026. HubSpot's terms, read on 24 September 2026, allow a renewal increase up to its then-current list price with at least 30 days' notice.

Did Salesforce raise prices in 2026?
On 3 September 2026 it announced Core, Advanced and Max editions at $195, $395 and $550 per user per month, and said legacy pricing for existing customers remains unchanged. Max matches the $550 that Agentforce 1 carried in Salesforce's June 2025 announcement. We print no percentage because we hold no legacy price read from Salesforce's own page.

How much notice does a CRM vendor give before a price increase?
In the terms we read on 24 September 2026: HubSpot and Freshworks at least 30 days before renewal, Pipedrive at least one month with the change applying from the next renewal date, and Close at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The monday.com and Zoho clauses we read state no number of days.

Does an annual CRM plan protect against a price increase?
Under the HubSpot, Pipedrive, Freshworks and Zoho terms, a price change applies from the renewal or the end of the current billing cycle, so a committed term's price holds for that term. The renewal itself can rise, and the monday.com and Freshworks terms show two ways a discount can fall away at renewal.

Why does this page show no increases?
Because none of the twelve tracked figures moved between 24 August and 24 September 2026. That is the result of two reads a month apart, which is why the page calls itself a first edition.
